How we stay factual
ClarityISA provides free UK financial calculators and portfolio clarity tools. We are not a regulated financial adviser. Here is exactly how we keep everything educational, illustrative, and compliant.
What ClarityISA is
Our calculators show illustrative figures based on the numbers you enter. They use publicly available UK tax rules and are updated for the current tax year.
When you import your holdings, we show you what you own, where it sits, and how it's allocated. We describe — we do not evaluate or recommend.
Every output is educational. We explain how UK tax wrappers work, what the rules are, and what questions are worth exploring — not what you should do.
Our tools let you model different scenarios — different contribution levels, different platforms, different allocations. The numbers are illustrative, based on the assumptions you enter.
What ClarityISA is not
- We are not a regulated financial adviser
- We do not provide personal recommendations
- We do not tell you what to buy, sell, or hold
- We do not tell you which platform is right for you
- We do not provide a personalised investment plan
- We do not provide tax advice
- We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to provide financial advice
The language rules we follow
We apply a strict set of language rules to every piece of copy across ClarityISA — calculators, dashboard, emails, and this page.
What every calculator page includes
Every calculator page on ClarityISA includes all of the following:
- A statement that figures are illustrative and based on the information entered
- A statement that this is educational information only and not regulated financial advice
- A reminder to consider personal circumstances or consult a qualified financial adviser
- Clear affiliate disclosure where referral links are present
- The tax year the figures are based on
Affiliate links — how we handle them
Some pages on ClarityISA include links to third-party providers such as investment platforms, pension providers, and mortgage brokers. ClarityISA may earn a referral fee if you open an account or use a service via these links.
- We always disclose affiliate relationships before the links
- We never rank providers by suitability — listings are for informational purposes only
- Affiliate relationships do not influence our calculator results or factual content
The presence of a provider on ClarityISA is not a recommendation to use that provider. Always check that any product or service suits your circumstances before proceeding.
